From Director Desk

Due to increasing population, we have a large number of educated unemployed youth not only in our own state Maharashtra but in our country India as well. Today’s youth (they call themselves YOUNGISTANIS) have lot of potential & dreams, but at times don’t have direction to grow & excel in their career.

To reduce the unemployment, huge effort is put at the government level. Under the guidance of Maharashtra government, lot of organisations & institutions, are taking initiatives & conducting seminars & road shows to address the unemployment problem. In the seminars they guide the unemployed youth about specialised programs & skills that will help them to secure respectable jobs or start their own business. They also guide how to secure loan or get subsidy as per the government terms & conditions.

As per the government of Maharashtra, the population of unemployed people in Maharashtra is nearing around 40 lacs as on Jan 2011. To reduce this, effort & hard work will be required on a grand scale. This is where Maharashtra Self-Employment Training Board (MSTB) comes into the scene. Under the guidance of Self Employment board, MSTB has arranged seminars, meetings & road shows for educated unemployed & guided them to run their own business successfully.
